REGISTRATION

STEP 1: PLAYER INFORMATION FORM (PIF)

The PIF gives your coach important information about you and your daughter, including uniform sizing, teammate requests, and other key information to facilitate IGLA communication. The PIF also includes the IGLA waiver which must be accepted in order to complete the registration and participate in the program.

STEP 2: PAYMENT

Please note, an IGLA pinny is required to be worn at all games. If the player has an IGLA pinny from a past season, she may wear that pinny for subsequent seasons. If the player requires a new pinny, they are available for purchase through the IGLA PIF for $20. Complete pinny payment online or by mailing in a check.

The Oak Park River Forest practice location accepts registrations and payment through the Oak ParkRiverside, and Forest Park park districts.

FALL INFORMATION

Leagues Practices (2nd-9th grades)

Fall League is September 10th – October 22nd. The first practice is Sunday, September 10th from 1:00-2:30pm at the “Big Ball Park” in Riverside off of Longcommon and Delaplain. All other practices are as follows:

PINK: Thursdays
8U (2nd-3rd graders) and 10U (4th-5th graders): :60 from 5:30pm-6:30pm
12U (6th-some 7th graders) and 14U (some 7th graders-9th graders): :75 from 5:30pm-6:45pm

PURPLE: Tuesdays and Thursdays
8U (2nd-3rd graders) and 10U (4th-5th graders): :60 from 5:30pm-6:30pm
12U (6th-some 7th graders) and 14U (some 7th graders-9th graders): :75 from 5:30pm-6:45pm

The first practice Sunday September 10th is at Big Ball Park in Riverside. All weekday practices are at Maple Park in Oak Park.

Pink League Fee is $185. Purple League Fee is $285. Purple League participation requires either Spring or summer 2017 Purple participation or a past assessment at the Purple level. If your daughter has never played or assessed at the Purple level she must assess to play Purple. Please click here to register for a Purple Skills Assessment.

6U FUNdamentals Clinics (K-1st grades)

1 day per week/6 weeks/$130. Thursdays 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, and 10/19 from 5:30pm-6:30pm (:30 practice and :30 scrimmage.) The clinic is held at Maple Park in Oak Park.

 

Game Information

Games take place on Sunday afternoons between 12-5pm. Locations include Centennial Park and fields in the West Division. Fall game dates are 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16 (FREE Fall Fest!) and 10/23. Games are scheduled as follows:

U9: :60 between 12pm-2pm (:30 practice, :30 game); U11: :75 between 12pm-3pm (:30 practice, :45 game); U13: :75 between 1pm-4pm (:30 practice, :45 game); U15: :75 between  2pm-5pm (:30 practice, :45 game).

Teams may be scheduled for double-headers. View Game Schedules and Locations on QuickScores.

Want to know who is on your daughter’s team? Log onto League Athletics and follow these steps:
  1. From the purple menu bar across the top of the home page, select “Team”, “Choose a Team”. You’ll choose your location and grade.
  2. At the next screen, head to the “Team” option at the top and choose roster. From there you will be able to see your daughter and her teammates!

Spring League is April 9th – June 4th.

SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION

IGLA summer camps are for players in K-9th grades of any experience level. Activities are designed to introduce basic lacrosse techniques to beginners and to provide more in-depth instruction to those players who have experience.

WEATHER INFORMATION

Practices and games will have a 30 minute delay for any thunder or lightning. Severe weather may cause cancellations. Cancellations will be posted on the IGLA home page. IGLA also uses a text message service for any cancellations within one hour. Please ensure you ensure that the cell number you indicate on your daughter’s Player Information Form is the number you wish to be contacted at for weather-related texts.
