REGISTRATION

STEP 1: PLAYER INFORMATION FORM (PIF)

The PIF gives your coach important information about you and your daughter, including uniform sizing, teammate requests, and other key information to facilitate IGLA communication. The PIF also includes the IGLA waiver which must be accepted in order to complete the registration and participate in the program.

STEP 2: PAYMENT

Please note, an IGLA pinny is required to be worn at all games. If the player has an IGLA pinny from a past season, she may wear that pinny for subsequent seasons. If the player requires a new pinny, they are available for purchase through the IGLA PIF for $20. Complete pinny payment online or by mailing in a check.

The Glen Ellyn Lombard practice location accepts registrations and payment for through the Glen Ellyn and Lombard park districts.

FALL INFORMATION

Fall Season is September 10th – October 22nd.

Leagues Practices (2nd-9th grades)

The first practice is Sunday, September 10th from 1:00-2:30pm at Hadley Jr. High in Glen Ellyn. All other practices are Tuesdays from 9/12 – 10/17 as follows :
8U (2nd-3rd graders) and 10U (4th-5th graders): :60 from 5:30pm-6:30pm
12U (6th-some 7th graders) and 14U (some 7th graders, 8th-9th graders):  :75 from 5:30pm-6:45pm
The league fee is $185.

6U FUNdamentals Clinics (K-1st grades)

6U CLINICS (K-1st graders): 1 day per week/6 weeks/$130. Thursdays 9/14 – 10/19. :60 from 5:30pm-6:30pm – :30 practice and :30 scrimmage game. The Clinic is held at Hadley Jr. High in Glen Ellyn.

Game Information

Games take place on Sunday afternoons between 12-5pm. Locations include fields in the West Division. Fall game dates are 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15 (Fall Fest!) and 10/22. We make every attempt to schedule the games by age group as follows:
8U: :60 between 12pm-2pm (:30 practice, :30 game); 10U: :75 between 12pm-3pm (:30 practice, :45 game); 12U: :75 between 1pm-4pm (:30 practice, :45 game); 14U: :75 between  2pm-5pm (:30 practice, :45 game).
Teams may be scheduled for double-headers and the schedule will be posted here.

Want to know who is on your daughter’s team? Log onto League Athletics and follow these steps:
  1. From the purple menu bar across the top of the home page, select “Team”, “Choose a Team”. You’ll choose your location and grade.
  2. At the next screen, head to the “Team” option at the top and choose roster. From there you will be able to see your daughter and her teammates!

ADDITIONAL FALL INFORMATION

Director

We’re looking for an enthusiastic director for our Glen Ellyn location. This is a paid position and lacrosse experience is not necessary. Please contact Jennifer Devens at jennifer@iglax.org to learn more!

Be in the know–attend your location’s parent meeting during the first practice on Sunday April 10th. We also invite you to join the parent informational conference calls on March 16th or April 6th at 7pm. Dial in to 605-477-2100, access code 330773#. Come with questions!

SPRING INFORMATION

Spring League is April 9th – June 4th.

Leagues Practices (2nd-8th grades)

The first practice is Sunday, April 9th from 1:00-2:30pm. All other practices are as follows:

PINK: Tuesday
8U and 10U 6:00-7:00
12U and 14U 6:00-7:15

PURPLE: Tuesday and Thursday

10U 6:00-7:00
12U and 14U 6:00-7:15

All practices are at Hadley Jr. High.

SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION

IGLA summer camps are for players in K-9th grades of any experience level. Activities are designed to introduce basic lacrosse techniques to beginners and to provide more in-depth instruction to those players who have experience.

WEATHER INFORMATION

Practices and games will have a 30 minute delay for any thunder or lightning. Severe weather may cause cancellations. Cancellations will be posted on the IGLA home page. IGLA also uses a text message service for any cancellations within one hour. Please ensure you ensure that the cell number you indicate on your daughter’s Player Information Form is the number you wish to be contacted at for weather-related texts.
